OBSTRUCTION LIGHTING Aviation Obstruction Products

Point Lighting Corporation is an FAA certified and inspected airfield lighting manufacturing facility. Our POINTSPEC™ obstruction lights are FAA certified by Intertek Testing Service (ETL) and are the only obstruction lights to also be safety certified and listed to UL and CSA standards.

The lighting required at a specific site depends on the type of structure, national or international standards adopted, site specific directives by authorities and owner specifications. Point Lighting Corporation will suggest a system layout and equipment list based on the information supplied.



PointSpec™ Low Intensity Obstruction Lights

Point Lighting Corporation POL single and double red obstruction lights are ETL tested and certified to FAA L-810 and ICAO Annex 14 Low Intensity Types A & B. They are also ETL listed and labeled to UL 1598 and CSA Canada. The POL-21003 LED lights are also ETL listed and labeled to UL 1598A for Marine Vessels and available for Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. Point Lighting offers more prewired options than any other manufacturer and many specification grade features such as captive screws on all access covers.




PointSpec™ Medium Intensity Obstruction Beacons

Point Lighting Corporation PFB flashing red obstruction lights are ETL tested and certified to FAA L-864 and comply with ICAO Annex 14 Medium Intensity Types B & C. The PFB-37001 LED beacons are also ETL listed and labeled to UL 1598, CSA Canada, UL 1598A for Marine Vessels and available for Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. Point Lighting LED beacons may be synchronized with or without a system controller.



Point Lighting Corporation Obstruction Lighting Controls

Point Lighting Corporation POC series controllers provide the control and monitoring functions for an obstruction lighting system in accordance with applicable FAA and ICAO rules and recommendations. PPC series photoelectric controllers switch POC controllers or POL lights at ambient light levels specified by FAA.
